The global cryptocurrency market was relatively flat on Wednesday, as Ethereum (ETH) prices soared, while Bitcoin (BTC) remained broadly flat.
The overall crypto market gained 0.61% to $1.03 trillion, but trading volume fell 2.76% to $67.86 billion in the past 24 hours as of 4:15 p.m. IST, according to Coinmarketcap.com.
Wednesday’s top gainer was the Helium token. It was trading at $7.50, up 14.13%, over the past 24 hours. The big loser was Lido DAO, trading at $2.11, down 2.51%, over the past 24 hours.
Bitcoin (BTC): BTC fell 0.09% to $21,358. Its lowest price in intraday trading was $21,195. Its market capitalization decreased by 0.09% to $408.6 billion and its trading volume decreased by 4.09% to $31.1 billion. BTC’s dominance in the crypto market increased by 0.27% to 39.77%.
Ethereum (ETH): ETH rose 2.16% to hit $1,640. Its market capitalization increased by 2.17% to reach $200.2 billion and its trading volume jumped by 2.79% to reach $17.9 billion.
Ripple (XRP): The price of XRP climbed 1.37% to trade at $0.3435, while its market capitalization rose 1.37% to $17.01 billion. XRP’s trading volume decreased by 7.02% to $889.8 million.
Solana (SOL): The price of SOL fell 0.03% to $35.19. Its market capitalization increased by 0.01% to $12.2 billion and its trading volume decreased by 10.22% to $875.5 million.
Gimbal (ADA): The price of ADA rose 0.60% to $0.4598. Its market capitalization increased by 2.32% to $15.5 billion and its trading volume decreased by 19.68% to $514.6 million.
Dogecoin (DOGE): DOGE’s price fell 0.58% to $0.06782, its market cap fell 0.58% to $8.9 billion, and its trading volume fell 13.84% to 318.5. millions of dollars.
Shiba Inu (SHIB): SHIB price rose 0.87% to trade at $0.00001319. Its market capitalization increased by 0.87% to $7.2 billion and its trading volume decreased by 9.40% to $395.01 million.
