The global crypto market capitalization fell 3.93% to $1.08 trillion as of 8:50 a.m. Global crypto volume fell 5.45% to $67.94 billion, according to data from Coinmarketcap.
The trading volume in the decentralized finance coins section is approximately $7.36 billion, or 10.83% of the total 24-hour crypto market volume. The volume of all stablecoins is $62.79 billion, which is approximately 92.42% of the total crypto market volume in the last 24 hours.
From 8:50 a.m., Bitcoin fell 3.94% to $22,917.21 and currently holds a 40.48% dominance in the crypto market.
As for the price analysis, the price of BTC started to decline around 2:44 PM on August 9th and with every passing hour it touched new lows. BTC seems to have bounced back a bit this morning from its 24-hour low but still remains in the red zone. The lowest price touched by BTC was $22,771.52.
Ethereum price this morning was $1,677.61 and it was down 5.34%.
ETH touched red territory once around 12:19 a.m. on August 9 but rebounded almost immediately to create a new high at $1,786.12. However, around 2:44 p.m. (the same time BTC began to fall), ETH began its descent. Just like BTC, it has touched a new low with each passing hour. The 24-hour low price for ETH was $1,665.09
The trading volume of ETH edged up 1.23% to $17,294,919,015.
Solana’s price today was down 6.41% at $39.48.
Cardano (ADA) fell 4.51% to $0.5071. The 24-hour trading volume for ADA decreased by 28.37% to $642,917,979.
Binance (BNB) fell 2.79% to $315.23. Its 24-hour trading volume rose 0.57% to $1,238,028,065.
Dogecoin (DOGE) fell 3.24% to $0.06806. Its 24-hour trading volume increased by 60.59% to $650,396,479.
Shiba Inu (SHIB) fell 2.99% to $0.00001192.

Yearn.Finance (YFI) fell 3.18% to $11,067.28. Its 24-hour trading volume increased by 7.76% to $77,606,015.
Avalanche (AVAX) was down 0.94% at $27.72 and its 24-hour trading volume was down 20.16% at $794,470,663.
Aave (AAVE) traded with a loss of 6.17% at $96.61 and its 24-hour trading volume was down 34.09% at $232,309,433.
